My friend Liz told me about Meebo yesterday. It's the web based chat app that allows you to connect to multiple different IM clients from a web window. No need to install software. I can't install software at work, so I'm liking it.

  • Must get Photoshop CS2

Yesterday my friend Kerry and I went down to Richmond to attend a Photoshop CS2 Creativity seminar. I'm still running version 7 of Photoshop. I was about to upgrade to CS, when I heard CS2 was coming out, so I decided to wait. Well, it didn't come out as soon as I thought it would after I heard it was coming. And then once it did, I wanted to make sure that it didn't have a lot of bugs and that it was worth upgrading to -- which in retrospect it was really silly since I had already decided it was worth upgrading to CS.

Then I found out that since I hadn't upgraded to CS, it was going to cost more to updated. I finally did get an upgrade, but it ended up being the CS upgrade, and not the upsell from version 7. So adobe was nice enough to refund the money from the wrong upgrade and now I just need to convince myself to spend the money for the actual upgrade I need.

Oh and have I mentioned I'm two versions behind with Flash too?

Edit: So I finally got it. It's great, but one problem, I can only one run app on my laptop at a time. Guess I'll have to look into a new one of those too ;-)
